Professional Experience

Engineer at ISL, Consultant engineering in Hydraulic constructions and Hydrology in Paris:
Impact studies, modelization, CCTP, diagnosis of hydraulic constructions; Supervision of construction of two dams:

• 7 months in Carcassonne
• 1 year in Gabon (in the rain forest) in 2002 - Returning by foot (2 months alone)

In 1999, one year internship with McGough: An American construction company in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA); several functions, cost estimates, then assistant project manager. Discovery of the northern American continent.

Education

November 1998, graduation as civil engineer in the "Ecole spéciale des travaux publics" in Paris and the technical university in Stuttgart (2-years study in Germany).

Bachelor of Mathematics by correspondence in 1995.

Foreign languages

My experiences abroad have helped me to master English and German.
An intensive course in Peru (5 weeks) has given me a solid base in Spanish.
I am currently studying Russian and some basic of Chinese.

Interests

Fond of mountains and all that is related to them : Skiing, mountaineering and rock climbing (ascent of in August 2002), trekking in high altitudes (Nepal in 2000 in the Annapurnas (1 month) and Peru in 2001 with a young Peruvian in the Huayhuash cordillera (15 days in total autonomy above 4,000 m)).

A musician or dancer sometimes, I also play the classic guitar and am fond of Cuban salsa. Photography is a passion growing with each travel. And to relax: squash and field hockey.
